ABOUT ME

I spend every school year working extensively to further my education in civil engineering and every summer turning down thousands of dollars in engineering interships and co-ops in order to counsel kids in the great outdoors. I'm pretty sure I am crazy...most of my campers would probably agree.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to have fun and I want to treat everyone with respect, dignity and honesty. If I can do both of those, I think I have done a pretty good job overall.

Hockey, soccer, cooking, playing outdoors. I am involved in the local food movement, buying and supporting local growers as much as possible. I especially love local beer and cheese...no state makes those better than Wisconsin. I love to experience new things; film festivals, art shows, touring museums, open mic nights...I will certainly try it at least once!

I have studied abroad in a small, sustainable fishing community, I grew up in a semi-rural farming community, I go to school in a progressive community, and I have worked for three summers in a summer camp counselor position. All of these experiences have helped me to grow and adapt to all sorts of people and situation. I would love to share my life story and learn about what makes your story special and unique as well.
