ABOUT ME

Creativity is on top of my list, so all about me could be very wierd. To keep it short: uncomplicated & naive, tall & bearded, open minded & energetic, pacifistic & observant.

I study Environmental Geosciences at the University of Basel in Switzerland, more like a hobby though. I spend a lot of time beeing a musician. I play the bass and some synthesizers in a post-punk, new wave, indie band called We Loyal (check out our website). If, by means of a miracle, I still find time to do other things I like to read and whatch movies, go on an occasional hike or bike tour, visit museums, meet people and go see other people perform their music.

Stanley Kubrick comes to mind, and Francis Ford Coppola. Last good movie I saw: The Ghost Writer.

I can manhandle most synthesizers (mostly 80s such as Junos, Jupiters, MS20s, Polysixes etc.)& use Ableton Live, do some basic sound engineering & mastering.

I want to learn: all about modular synths, to cook & fly a plane.
