ABOUT ME

trying to not take anything too seriously. drinking tons of green tea, so very chilled and enjoyable! if not sleeping :) almost vegetarian and environmentally friendly, so always on the search for new ways to minimize my ecological footprint. big outdoor fan! hiking, biking, running, swimming... i am totally up for any of it. i love studying philosophy and discussing it. but don't worry, i can also share moments of silence, don't have to talk around the clock and give you your space. also, i am definitely a dog person. although i really do like cats as well. lately got into photo on wood transfer techniques and love it! i really like to be active and out but also to relax back at home after a day outdoors, watching good tv series and movies, cook and just enjoy life. join me :)

music: depends on the season, really :) in the colder-ish months i am all about slow, quiet singer/songwriter music (the tallest man on earth, passenger, blind pilot, gregory allen isakov, edward sharpe, badly drawn boy, yasmine tourist and many more). in spring and summer i like to fasten it up and extend this music with tech house, my favourite kind of electronic music (monkey safari - i am crazy about them; egokind, klangkarussell, drauf & dran and so on). also, i am nearly always up for good german old school rap :)

there are too many books i love, i am more into non fictional literature though. my favourite authors are albert camus, jean-paul sarte, simone de beauvoir, friedrich nietzsche, bertrand russell, henry david thoreau, erich fromm, erich kästner, milan kundera and definitely all the great russian existentialists like tolstoi, dostoijewski, turgenew...

being woken up by two heavily austrian speaking police men in the prater area in the middle of vienna at 7 a.m. because we parked our van in the heart of a natural reserve and slept there. great moment !

i'm teaching philosophy, politics, ethics and history - so whenever there's any need of discussions in those field, i'd be glad to team up with you ;) also, i'm a huge fan of vfb stuttgart (german soccer league) and willing to have hour long soccer discussions, but no worries, not a soccer nerd ;) other than that, just share a beer with me and i am willing to talk about almost anything :)
