Hasta diciembre 2015, yo trabajaba como statistico en un laboratorio, pero no me gustó, así que lo dejé para encontrar otro trabajo (¡no lo he aún encontrado!)
Yo vuelo a Colombia el 24 enero, y quiero ver la Colombia 'real'. Quiero mejorar mi español encontrando la gente y habituándome a hablar con los nativos, y quiero trabajar o voluntar mientras estoy allí. He oído que los colombianos son los mas amistados en el mundo, y quiero ver si es la verdad!
Me gusta leer (en el momento estoy leyendo 'The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test' de Tom Wolfe, acabo de leer 'los diarios motocicletas' de Che Guevara, y estoy a punto de leer 'Las Venas Abiertas de América Latina' de Eduardo Galeano)
escuchar música, ir en bicicleta (fui en bicicleta desde Francia a Suecia) y tomar una cerveza con nuevos amigos.
También pruebo a aprender el español, pero ha estado difícil aprenderlo en Inglaterra sin tener la oportunidad para practicar (por favor, si he hecho errores, ¡dígame!)

Hi, my name is Ben, I'm 25 and I live in Manchester, England.
Until December 2015 I was working as a statistician in a lab, but I wasn't a fan so I left to find another job (hasn't happened yet!).
I fly to Colombia on the 24th January, and I want to see the 'real' Colombia. I want to improve my Spanish by meeting people and getting used to speaking to natives, and I want to work or volunteer while I'm there. I've heard that Colombians are the most friendly people in the world, and I want to see if it's true!
I like to read, listen to music, ride my bike and have a beer with new friends.
I'm also trying to learn Spanish but it has been difficult in England without the opportunity to practice (if I have made mistakes, please tell me!)
