I've been an art student, a brewer, a social media consultant and, though it all, a writer. With the marvellous illustrations of my marvellous partner, I write children's picture books and make shadow puppetry shows.

After 4 years in buzzy Brighton, I'm starting a new life and chasing my rural roots in Devon. Looking forward to diving directly into the Totnes transition adventure.

I spent a month couchsurfing my way around Europe being treated with exceptional kindness and hospitality. It made travelling alone on next to no money not only possible but wonderful.
