ABOUT ME

Hi, I am currently traveling the USA wwoofing (volunteering on organic farms) and hoping to couchsurf. I normally live in Wales where for the past year I work in a local coffee shop trying, with great difficulty, to learn how to do latte art.
I have couchsurfed before in the UK and found it to be really fun, giving me a great opportunity to meet people I normally wouldn't.
I am interested in issues surrounding sustainability and in particular the different methods and approaches people employ in order to try and live so. I try and grow a few things at home myself. This year that has included pumpkins and blackberries and establishing a small pear tree.
I am also interested in sport, most notably following football (soccer) when I am back home. I also really enjoy playing tennis.
I am looking to meet people and explore a bit of the local area but in truth I have always found people to be the most interesting part of any place I visit. I also enjoy cooking so would love to help out with meals especially if it meant trying to make some of the local cuisine.

As of yet, I have only surfed although it has always been great fun. It is great meeting new people and the generosity people show in opening their homes to you is great.

The previous times I have couchsurfed it was organised through someone else's account hence the lack of references.
