我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Sometimes I host quite a few couchsurfers, up to 3 different parties at once. I'm saving up my vacation time for a long trip, so it's almost as good as traveling and I like to think that my travelkarma balance is solidly positive. Sometimes I attend the various bar-type events organized by local couchsurfing members.

兴趣

Outdoor stuff: mountain/road/snow biking, snowboarding, looking at things.
Indoor stuff: mainly reading and fixing whatever's broken.

To paraphrase Orwell: Two wheels good, four wheels bad.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've done a 100 mile winter wilderness race in Alaska. Twice.

I just completed 600 miles of the Baja Divide, a backcountry bikepacking route through Baja California.

Those were two things, but they both relate to bicycles.

I'd like to say that I watched a sunrise over the Atlantic and sunset over the Pacific on the same day, but I went the other direction in Panama.
