I travel quite a bit these days, working on human rights and development issues around southern Africa and occasionally elsewhere, and back in London inbetween

Variety is the spice of life, everything is good in moderation (except very few things which are bad and many things which i like a lot)

Well I'm happy to give advice about places and meet up with people, but given I'm generally without my own home I can't often offer places to stay

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm pretty good at sleeping on floors, especially carpeted ones, and sofas. I let people sleep on mine when I have one.

Music, Movies, and Books

Good films, documentaries, sometimes rubbish films, nearly any type of music and lots of it - i can spend a long long time listening, always need more time to read books these days, its all been dry uni stuff...
If i really had to name favourites i might say coen bros/sebastian tellier/haruki murakami at the moment but these things change

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dawn on a mountain in Kashmir, dusty red sunsets and animal antics in Namibia, hitchhiking with the Botswanan army, living in the bush with a dog and a rubbish pick-up truck and meeting lots of people who have a passion making life better

Teach, Learn, Share

Random facts, too many random facts. Otherwise i love cooking, can do some basic languages, fixing stuff - shit cars and house things. We should swap music.
I like to learn about where and whom I'm visiting, and being taught the greetings, pleasantries and swear words of any language.
