Originally from NY, I live and work in Bogota, Colombia. I also volunteer with Young Professionals in Foreign Policy.

Be open to new ideas and learn to give people more than one chance. Life is too short to hold grudges or worry about what other people are doing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely into science fiction and fantasy for both books and movies. Sometimes will read current events and/or history, though since that is such a big part of my workplace and volunteer experience, I like to save my books and movies for fiction. As for music, I have a wide variety. From classical music (mainly western from Baroque through modern classical) to jazz, pop, rock and rap. One thing I have definitely come around on is country, though it is still at the bottom of my list in terms of genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teaching English in rural China was a pretty amazing life experience. Action wise, it would probably be taking a zip line over the cloud rainforest in Costa Rica.
