Hey!

I'm Bence from Hungary and I am currently studying Rocket Science in Germany, well, Aerospace Computer Science to be exact :)

It's hard to define my interests, but I would say I'm a mixture between a hipster and a nerd. Alongside loving anything technical, I'm very interested in art as well. I love listening to music, and going to concerts, usually small garage bands.

My main hobby is analog photography, I hope I will get the chance to capture the Northern Lights soon.

I also try to be as active as possible, I boulder, cycle and sometimes sail boats.

I speak Hungarian and English fluently, German nearly fluently and I can manage basic sentences in French, I would love to practice with someone!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently won an Interrail ticket, and I want to travel Scandinavia with a friend of mine in September.
We've never been anywhere near there, so we're excited.

We are nearly entirely new to backpacking and couchsurfing, so we're excited for the experience and would love to make new friends in as much places as possible!

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly listen to indie and psychedelic rock, bands like The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant, alt-J, Saint Motel, The White Stripes, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, Neutral Milk Hotel, Vampire Weekend, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd... The list goes on and on.

I don't limit myself to these genres of course, I enjoy nearly everything from bebop jazz to gangsta rap or techno. I also collect vinyl records.

I mainly watch series instead of films, my current obsession is Bojack Horseman, Stranger Things and Mr. Robot. But my favourite film is definitely Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels from Guy Ritchie. I also love any movie with gritty, dark humour, let me know if you have any recommendations!

My favourite authors are Albert Camus, Franz Kafka and Geogre Orwell, any book from them is my favourite book :)
