When I first got into CS, I've taken it as a way of booking free accomodation, tbh. But all the people I've met during my experiences connected to this site, has gave me so much knowledge and joy that now I can appreciate it on a whole new level. Meeting like-minded people - or even people with totally different mindset - from all around the world supports me in self-development, and it means the world to me.

I cycled from Győr, Hungary to Warsaw, Poland in five days, having accomodated at couchsurfers, which was definitely one of the most influential experinces of my life.
