I love meeting people from all across the globe, learning about different cultures and exploring this most excellent planet we live on. I'm an adventurous sort of person and since I boarded my first international flight to New Zealand in 2007 I have been obsessed with travelling and I have been lucky enough to travel the world a fair bit since then.

I'm told that I'm easy going fellow and at the moment I'm studying Journalism at uni.

Travelling aside, I would say my main interests are music and films. I can't get enough of these two things. I'm always singing songs and playing around on my guitar and I go to the movies whenever I get the chance.

I'm a pretty active guy and I love the outdoors and general outdoorish activities (bushwalking, swimming ect). I also love snowboarding (having spent a season in Whistler in 2010-11) and skateboarding.

I listen to a hell of a lot of music but some of my favourite bands/musicians are Fleetwood Mac, The Smiths, OutKast, Belle and Sebastian, The War On Drugs, Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Eminem, Jeff Buckley, The Strokes, Marvin Gaye, Vampire Weekend, David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Curtis Mayfield.. ect.

Movies: Boogie Nights, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Trainspotting, The Wolf of Wallstreet, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, The Dark Knight, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Snatch, In Bruges, The Grand Budapest Hotel, 12 Years a Slave, The Castle, Crocodile Dundee... the list goes on.

Books: My favourite novel is probably The Beach, an absolute must read for anyone who loves travelling, especially if you are planning on heading, or have been to, South East Asia. Some other favourite include The Great Gatsby, Huckleberry Finn, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Never Let Me Go and Wuthering Heights.
