HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I make a point of being a good guest by being helpful and clean. I am happy to host people who need a place to stay for a night or two in Budapest. I am usually very busy with school, so may not be your tour guide, but am happy to point out some fun stuff for you to do / see. If you climb, I'll definitely take you to my climbing gym.

As a guest, I am mostly looking for somewhere to stay for one night as I am passing through, rather than blowing money on a hostel, hotel or AirBnB. I am also happy to meet new people and hang out, though. Especially if you want to go climbing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience so far was staying with someone in Durango, CO on my way to Texas from Utah. It was a very no-nonsense stay which was sort of what I wanted. I just showed up, slept, and was on my way.

Favorites questions are tough for me because there is no one genre I am particularly into over any other... basically anything that evokes emotion, educates me, or makes me think in a new and different way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a yoga demonstration for some Indian villagers at a Hindu wedding. I was the only white guy there and they treated me like I was some kind of wizard.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make a fire from sticks. I can cook some of the most delicious salmon you will ever eat (provided the fish is fresh and the kitchen is decently-equipped). I can climb. I can interpret your medical test results. I can tell you what herbal medicine to use (that is supported by research evidence) if you'd rather not go to a doctor. However... I can not take legal responsibility if you die from not seeking professional treatment : P
