About Me

I'm a 18 years old student from southern Italy.
I'm looking forward both to travel and to host but I haven't made a choice about some place yet.

My interests are reading (especially existentialist and surrealist author), watching movies and fight sports.

Even though most of what I do is inside my house I will never refuse an adventure outside.

I love exploring and I love details, especially hidden ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that people bear a weight with them, a weight of perspective and thought given by their birthplace.

To travel for me is to know new ways to look at life, thus extending my own culture and understanding of the human behavior while enjoying the natural masterpiece every country has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to experimental rock, neomelodic metal, folk, ambient.

I love specialised films and I love film maker like Lynch, Lanthimos and Moretti.

It's really hard to pick a favorite book.

The name I can recall now are Haruki Murakami, Dostoevskij, Bulgakov and the Beat Generation.

I love poetry too, like Sappho, Marco Valerio Marziale, Eugenio Montale, Alda Merini, Walt Whitman, Allen Ginsberg, Rimbaud, Prevert e Verlaine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I fell in a swamp unintentionally.
Yeah, I know it doesn't sound that amazing, but that's the point:
it was all covered in green so I thought it was grass and once I put my foot in I was totally sunk under the water, which was taller than me (and I'm 1,85 meters/ 6.83 inches) and when I fell I created a hole in the green surface of the swamp and light came through it.

So imagine this scene with me totally sunk in what basically was deep as a lake, with only a source of light coming out of a hole that as the grass on the surface was reaarrenging itself was getting more and more little.

That is one of the few moments in my live where I felt alive, and with the urge of keeping myself alive.

Would to that again if I could get still surprised by the presence of the swamp.
