Hello! I'm Benedict :) I'm a business-design consultant (www.nov.as) and a photographer. Right now I'm working on a travel startup that's trying to improve accessibility in hotels for people with disabilities (www.trekkable.co)! I happen to be a quadriplegic, and use a wheelchair daily, although with a lot of independence (after an accident I had at the age of 11, in 1991). I also enjoy doing voiceover work (as a hobby, for now) and recording vocals for music, in addition to making some art pieces here and there (as lino-cuts). Oh, and I LOVE to travel! It's been a long road to slowly push my boundaries and gain more independence, and traveling some place new (and back to the places I love) always help me grow and stay healthy through that level of activity :)

I'd love to start hosting travelers in my spare bedroom that will soon be open, as I love being hospitable to others, and welcoming them to my town (it's a fabulous place). The experience of connecting with lots of diverse people who are active and open-minded to adventuring and seeing a variety of cool things in the area is also one of my favorite things.

I'd also love to start being hosted and attempting to discover anyone with homes that might be accessible (even if they aren't perfect) as a way to make my journey's more affordable (I travel A LOT) create new friendships along the way, and connect with real locals in the places I go. It's not rare for me to strike up a conversation with various strangers in far off places and become friends for life.
