I'm a French student living in Paris for now, though I don't know if I'll stay there my whole life. I love to travel and I've had the really cool opportunity to live in a lot of different places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to visit new places, never tried CouchSurfing yet but would like to use it to travel more.

Interests

I love to cook (my friends call me Marmiton, a French word for cook. The other nickname being "Morfal" i.e. a ravenous person), it's probably my main hobby.
I also love hiking, although I miss it ever since I moved to Paris because it's much harder to find good places to hike in this region. Never gone camping but would like to try.
I also love learning new languages and speaking with other people to practice!

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot, but I couldn't pick a favorite book. Mostly into classics but also reading more recent French novels, and just lately discovering Russian literature. Also, Victor Hugo is my favorite author (I think). For movies I'm generally up for whatever's playing and interesting.
I don't listen to any particular type of music (maybe film music, or alternative rock) as I usually steal other people's music so I'm always up for suggestions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived one year living on an American campus, in the middle of nowhere (sort of), with no French food. It was a bit hard to adjust :P

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook so I could definitely teach new recipes. :)
I really like tea (and coffee) so I'd love to chat over a cup of tea. I'm not sure I can host (apartments in Paris are very very small) right now but would love to if I manage to move into a bigger place!
