Overview
About Me
My name is Benedicte. I am a nursing student who is engaged in my community. I have several functions in my University, the Norwegian Nursing Organization and European Nursing Student Association.
I am now, in 2022, on an exchange program in Spain as it was really compelling to experience another country and its culture when the opportunity presented itself.
I am married. No kids, but two cats. Got married this summer to a wonderful man I met when I was a teenager.
I am open, and social and enjoy good conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always loved to experience the world and its possibilities. It is, I would say, one of the greatest pleasures of being a human.
And I want to do exactly this. Meet people, explore countries and cultures, and get to know more about the world we live in.
I like how social Couchsurfing is - how you can so much easier will be able to understand another culture and people.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like most kinds of music. I have a playlist for every mood I can be in. Artists I have close to my heart are Billy Joel and Elton John.
If I ever recommend you a film, it is most likely going to be About time. It is my all-time favorite as it teaches you about how you can appreciate life.
Even though I don't spend much time reading books, I sometimes find myself reading one. Those often are books about self-improvement; either in the work life, in personal life, improving soft skills, or something like that. I think it is really important to focus on becoming the better version of yourself, and that takes a little bit of dedication.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Cáceres, a smaller town west of Spain to go on an exchange program for 2 months+ and managed this adventure just fine. It is a little bit crazy to think I did that.
Newly wedded and left for two months to work in a Spanish hospital.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook the best brownies in the world. Mine are homemade. One of my secrets is that it is better the day after being made.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share happiness, humor, and a nice conversation.
I may buy a bottle of wine and share that with you as well if you'd like.
