ABOUT ME

2014/2015:

I will be passing through a few cities in Europe this Christmas (2014/2015) before I move to Cape Town in January. So I will be looking for places to rest my weary head after a hard days traveling!

Living in both London and Cairo these days, I work in the development sector, with my work often taking me around Africa and Middle East. I also live a double life as a musician. For any musicians out there I am usually with my mandolin or violin so it would be cool to jam! I consider myself a sort of world musician and like to play many different styles, from blues, bluegrass and rock to folk, jazz and flamenco.

I'm a very easy going person who doesn't need much to enjoy himself in life. I like to be out and about a lot - as much as the next person - but at the same time I also equally enjoy a day or night inside with some good food, good company, or a good film.

Intereses

Music, art, novels, history, writing, photography... far too many hobbies and never enough time. One of my major passions in life is music, not just listening but also creating - I play several instruments. I also really love to read. Mostly fantasy and historical fiction.

When I visit places I can often be found taking long walks exploring with the company of my camera. :)
