If there is any opportunity to lay about in the sun, chances are high that I will take full advantage. I'm an artist and a romantic, pondering thoughts on the poetics of people and how I might fit into this big world. I believe that a day is best spent creating: art, poetry, food, friendships, memories. I find it challenging to dislike anyone--If i'm talking with you I'm probably smiling and have already decided on at least one reason that I find your person beautiful. / Let's go for a walk, a lay under the stars, or a visit to the bar with good beer and conversation that dips deeply and touches on the laughter and the bits that make us all human.

I am a large supporter and past participant in the WWOOF network and found that particular organization amazing in it's ability to connect open-minded individuals from all over the globe. While I'm new to Couchsurfing, i'm excited about it for similar reasons. I'm looking forward to the adventures and souls I'll encounter through this platform.

I'm not one to turn down anything if it comes from somewhere with meaning.

That being said, I'm drawn to Studio Ghibli films and books that weave amongst ordinary reality, whimsy, and unexpected bits of magic. The Little Prince is a recent favorite and my inner child will always be sated by the written worlds of Cornelia Funke.
