my name is Bene and I am known for my love for a spontaneous adventure, my enthusiasm and sunny mood. I enjoy being out and about in nature and love getting to know new people, places and cultures. Currently I work as a youth pastor in an evangelical church in the center of Germany. In my free time you will find me spending as much time as possible with my friends, doing all kinds of sports, playing the guitar or planning my next trip.

I recently went solo traveling in South America for 10 months and spent most of my time working in NGOs with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a good action thriller or comedy movie. But if I’d have the choice to either watch a movie or have a jamming session with friends, I’d always pick the music :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After finishing school I did a gap year in Tanzania where I volunteered for an organization that takes care of street children. I was able to share a home with a local family and learned much more than just Swahili from these amazing people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I find interest in basically anything; we can chat about cultures, music, beliefs, your favorite traveling spots and so on.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Germans are not known for their great cuisine but I am an expert at preparing “Pfannkuchen”(something like a combination of a pancake and Crêpe) and will happily share this dish with my hosts ;)
