Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hostels are great, that's for sure, but it can be quite annoying as well. Meet new people and explore great cities (not just the normal sights) is what I want.

Interests

Hoops, this could be a long one but I'll keep it short - what's the fun of knowing everything about each other before meeting in real life? I love to podcast (yes, those audio-things) and going out for a drink, the movies or just the park. I sometimes do press and event photography as well. Politics used to be a huge part of my life but I cut it down to a minimum.

Music, Movies, and Books

Do you also feel those vibes while listening to electronic music? It's just amazing. I love it! I have to admit though, that I like almost every song which is good - regardless its genre. There's quite nice classical and pop-rock music out there as well.

I'm a huge Netflix fan - so let's talk about movies. My favourite one is Donny Darko, which - at first glance - seems to be quite... hard to getting used to. If you haven't seen it: Go for it! Hellman and Once Upon a Time in the West are lovely as well, but I'm more like a series guy. There's nothing better than a good laugh with Ricky Gervais on The Office or David Mitchell and Robert Webb on Peep Show. Those two are both British comedies - the best out there! And sure, there's Steve Carrells The Office and Kevin Spaceys House of Cards. But do you know their originals?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a volunteer at a small German NGO which pays student fees for poor children and supports a school for the blind in the northern state of Assam in India.

I'm proud of being a part of it! It used to be a school project but now it's getting bigger and bigger and supports so many children.... :)

Teach, Learn, Share

German might not be the language everyone ones to learn, but I'd love to help you do so! I know some programming as well (PHP, C, JAVA)!

Learning foreign languages is amazing - and I want to try to speak at least a little bit of every national language while I'm there. But don't worry, you don't have to teach me! :p

What I Can Share with Hosts

My joy in life and basically all the things mentioned above. I want to have a great time - but it's no problem at all if I just sleep at yours. It's obviously not necessary to play a tour guide -but it would be lovely for sure :)
