My name is Benedikt Palandt. I’m 24 years old and born in Hanover, Germany. After my high school exam, I decided to make an education as a carpenter. I wanted to learn something practical, earn my first money, get in touch with the business world, working in a team and with the wonderful material wood. In these three years of education, I built cabinets, tables, shelves, fences, terraces, installed windows and repairing work inside and outside of a house. It was definitely the right decision for me, witch my character and horizon grew up. After this amazing time it was clear for me, to get the experience of work in travel in a foreign country. Through the KPC (Kibbutz volunteer program center), I stayed a half year in a kibbutz near the Gaza strip and worked there as a carpenter and got really close with these lovely people there. After that I did work and travel in New Zealand for 9 months and spend 2 months in South Korea. Since february 2015 I`m back in Germany and worked 4 months in Hanover in a social institution in a joinery to indigrate young people into the business world. In october this year I will start my studies to become a teacher. I am a friendly, social, open minded and motivated person, who is very interested in people and love to help them.
