we are on a year long world adventure - so aiming to stay happy and healthy and have a fantastic time!

ABOUT ME

We are a relatively young married couple. We are excited about many things including travel and leaving a gentle footprint on the planet (although we realise plane travel is not really compatible!). We are keen to learn as much as possible about the places we are traveling through and connect with local people and their stories.

PHILOSOPHY

To live well - treat the planet and the people around you with respect and love - sounds a bit cheesy but it works for us!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently not being very useful as couch surfing hosts due to a new baby and renovations. Looking forward to returning generosity shown to us by CS hosts and CS friends in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Limited as we had trouble getting frequent access to internet on our big trip and at present we are unable to host... But all experıences have been good so far

Music - wıde range of favourites but including the shins, Kings of Leon, white stripes, Augie March, howling bells, Darren Hanlon, The Waifs, Midnight Oil, Pearl jam, powderfinger
Books: Gobbling up as many as possible in our travels - often limited to bookswap options, recent favourites are John İrving - A Prayer for Owen Meany; Tracey Chevalier - Burning Bright; Hemmingway - For whom the bell tolls; David Mitchell - any!; Stieg Larsson - the whole trilogy etc etc
