About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find out if there is a world out there without care, restraint, ignorance and judgement: Where people enjoy each others company and are always ready to share a good time!
ABOUT ME
I have spent most of my post adolescent life really enjoying myself. Some might call me a drifter, even I have said it myself, but I would prefer the term wanderer. A student of the world, never expecting too much and always being delighted and surprised. Sometimes given to delusion and disillusion, I'll always seek the beauty in life and smile broadly when I find it; especially in other people! I am a thoughtful person who aims for little more than a reasonable combination of contemplation and conversation. I like to learn and therefore am quite happy to admit I have much left to learn!
PHILOSOPHY
dum vivimus, vivamus.
(with life, let us live.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have lived in share houses in Melbourne that have taken in CS'ers over the years and have made many a dear foreign friend in my time. Canadians, Germans, Swedes, Norwegians, Spaniards, of course those bloody English and many others!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed with some wonderful people in the USA. from California to Texas, I found people willing to take me in and treat me with kindness and caring.
I lived in Cancun, Mexico where I was involved in the local Couchsurfing community. The hostel that I managed hosts many Couchsurfing events, from Christmas Posadas to spontaneous parties.
Cancun has one of the most exciting and prolific Couchsurfing communities that I have seen and I absolutely loved being involved.
