I'm Beni and I'm a sophomore in college. I'm new to traveling by myself and am excited to learn how to become more independent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Walking around and taking pictures is enjoyable but forming relationships with other people is what makes my day. I've always loved stories (I'm majoring in English), both telling them and listening to. If I have the opportunity and privilege to visit a place away from my home, it would be even better if I can stay with a local. The fact that every person in this world has their own life and stories amazes me and I'd love to hear as many as I can.

Also I want to take advantage of my time in college to experience traveling without major responsibilities (i.e. "Am I using up all of my sick/vacation days?"). Since I'm a student, I don't have a lot of money so I would love to be able to find housing at an affordable price.
