Overview
About Me
I’m an Italian student currently based in Brussels, after international experiences in the US, Argentina, and Paris. I’m a very open-minded and friendly person, extremely curious about the local life of the places I visit. Sharing experiences and points of view with people that love traveling as much as I do is probably my favorite activity, so even if my studies won’t allow me to visit the city with you the whole day, I’ll definitely enjoy a nice chat around a good (vegetarian) meal and Belgian beers🍻
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The local side of the places I visit is what I'm really interested in: unique spots, cool bars, nice parks... anything that travel guides won't tell you basically.
And I will be glad to tell you about the coolest places in Brussels although I’m only partially a local 😉

Music, Movies, and Books
I love oldies and classics (talking about books and movies).
A lot into dystopian stuff (A Clockwork Orange, 1984, Brave New World etc.), but not only. When I'm abroad, I try to get to know the local literature. I prefer to read in the original language if my knowledge of it allows me to do so.
My favorite directors are Kubrick (Eyes Wide Shut in particular) and Hitchcock (North by Northwest and Psycho), but I'm suuuper open to suggestion when it comes to movies in particular. Once again, I prefer to watch them in original language, with subtitles if necessary.
Teach, Learn, Share
Despite my Italianness I'm not much of a cook unfortunately, but I do my best and I do enjoy sharing cooking experiments (great bounding goal). Same thing for drinks and cocktails: I'm definitely no barman but I'm very curious about the matter (once, I got my best friend's grandma drunk while trying to make a good Spritz).
Also, learning languages is my favorite hobby, so I would totally accept some basics (or more advanced if I can bare that) in your own language. I'm pretty good at teaching some Italian myself.
