One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling on a budget way gives a lot of surprises. When I tried with my travel mates to go from Cusco to Machu Pichu for less than 10 dollars, it took us a whole day, with four changes (bus, minibus, walking, cab, train) and a lot of rain. Because of the rain, part of the road was flooded, so we first had to push the 2-tons car out of a river, then to finish the path walking and avoiding rolling stones -with a 300 meters high gap on the left-, because the rain had destroyed the road. Hopefully, we managed to finish the journey without paying. The following day, after 2 more hours walking to the site, we were definitely very prouds.
