ABOUT ME

I love to travel! The first big journey on my own brought me straight to South East Asia, traveled through Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and continued to Vietnam...there I had the first time extreme spicy food, which tends to numb your palate and cry one's eyes out if you are not patient like me. Now, I like it a lot.
The first month of the journey I was overwhelmed from all the cultures, super nice locals and I discovered that you don´t need a big straight plan for traveling. After a short while I discovered the flow of it all and to leave much more space for the spontaneous happenings.

After an incredible journey in Asia, I went to Australia. Mannn the Aussies. I had an amazing time, such relaxed people. Afterwards months on the "red continent", I "almost" frooze my nuts off in New Zealand, arriving in the Kiwi winter.

Back in Germany I started university in Kiel. I did two semesters abroad in Brazil and did research in Canada as well. That was all in all an amazing experience. I had the chance to travel a bit of South America as well - a magical place, so different to what I expierenced culture ways before. A place where I wanna go back, for sure!

2016 we did a big hitchhiking trip from Hamburg - Istanbul. Through all the balkans, passing through Greece and via the mainland to turkey. From 2017-2019 I have been in New Zealand. Working on a farm, bought a Van, lived the life, discoverd more and more hiking for me, spend days surfing the wild coastlines of thise magnificent pacific islands and left the winters for Indonesia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

love, peace and happiness! It sounds very Hippy, but that platform is just amazing. And gave me so many beautiful encounters with people from all over the world. There is no place for harm and war, basically all people just want to have their friends and family around them, spending good times together and live in peace.

Interests

Free your mind, free you soul! I like to laugh, have a good party, great food , wine and coffee! I love activties, never stop to be curios, life will give you amazing expierences.

Music, Movies, and Books

world music, surfer rock, reagge, jazz, relax and unwind music. For partying as well good electronic music (e.g. DnB).

I grew up close to Berlin and the music scence had an influence on me. As it is the capital of electronic music, I got in contact with great tunes. Djs like Koelsch, Rampue, Parov Stelar or Dj Vaadim are great artist. But I think it always depends on my mood. I like chill out music and reggae tunes as well.

I really enjoy being on live concerts.
Bands like the Whitest Boy Alive, Marsh Fourth, Sticky Fingers, Ocean Alley or Andersoon Paak. Are the fuel of my daily life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying with mantarays through the flores sea. Beeing on a sailing boat for a couple of days, in beautiful waters, with amazing coral gardens and seeing this majestic animals. A scenery like our planet used to be in various places around the world.
