ABOUT ME

Things I love to do when I'm in a new city are:
-Find the best bar or brew-pub and enjoy a few local beers
-Find the best coffee shop and enjoy some coffee
-Check out a good Resturant/Dinner
-Maybe go to a show or two
-Ride mass transit as much as I can
-Make fun of tourists
-Make a new friend so I have an excuse to go back!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a Jew who believes in Christ. 1 John 4:7 pretty much is my guideline principle as a believer. It talks about just showing love the way God shows us love (kind of cheesy, I know) and I think that the most important thing in life is loving one another, hoping that you may inspire that person to show the same love to someone else. I don't believe that God's love stops at certain people or has limits, so I try not to let mine have any either.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My church constantly gets e-mails from people around the world who are in need of a place to stay, for days, weeks, even months. Luckily I have a bit of extra space in my house, so I'm usually able to offer it up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on many a dorm room floors, visiting friends at their colleges, so I'm pretty comfortable in sleeping anywhere. Once I slept in a hotel bathtub because there was no room left on the floor, so anything more comfortable is a blessing to me!

Interests

It's pretty hard to narrow down the things I'm into, because I'm so interested in such a large variety of things, but I'd say my main two focuses in life are music, whether it be live (in a band) or production (electronic music) and computers. I love finding the balance between creativity and logic.

Music, Movies, and Books

I know it's a cliché, but music is my life. I enjoy listening and making all kinds, from late 90s emo to downtempo electronica. When I find someone who's into the same bands (American Football, Casket Lottery, Braid, Sunny Day) as I am, I think an instant connection is made. I like a lot of movies, and I don't read much books, but music is where it's at for me.

I just got married. By far the most amazing thing I've done! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Jesus has changed my life in incredible ways, and I love to talk about it, but don't worry, I won't bring it up unless you ask. I think that God calls us to love one another so much because He wants us to understand how much He loves us. Understanding this gives you a peace that is unmeasurable, and loving each other recklessly is the most beneficial thing we can do as humans.
