ABOUT ME

Recently graduated at the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa & started a job in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

I'm an outgoing, laid-back, outspoken, preferably sarcastic individual that loves life! I absolutely love to laugh, so if we can make each other laugh, you got my heart. :-)

Absolutely love Latin America and the Caribbean! The happiness and spontaneity of the people... the music... the food... but most importantly the rum.... lol

I love food, especially when it is spicy. (Note: it used to be "I love food, as long as it is not spicy" - But, thanks to the Caribbean . . . . . )

Despite my free spirit, I'm very focused when it comes to pursuing my goals and fulfilling my dreams. I try to avoid stress at all times, whenever possible.

PHILOSOPHY

You can do anything you put your mind into. Only you know who you are! Be a strong individual, trust yourself, love yourself, be proud and confident of who you are and what you dream of. Don't stress or put pressure on anyone, especially not yourself! Love what you do, and let everyone else live how they want to and love what they do. Everything will eventually fall into place. We only got one life, so take risks and don't waste time talking without acting or complaining.
Have a positive attitude and live a life full of laughter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe Couchsurfers share the same mentality about life, cultures, and people. I enjoy sharing experiences and memories with other Couchsurfers, it is beautiful to have mutual interest in each others lives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a shower at the top of the worlds largest single-drop waterfall, Kaiteur Falls in Guyana.

Visited paradise on earth: San Blas islands in Panama.

Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago. (No comment! lol)

Fought in a boxing match.

Worked as a volunteer in a drug rehab in Costa Rica... made me realize that you can't trust anyone but yourself.

Visited a Women's Prison in South Africa, speaking with the prisoners about their lives and crimes was an emotionally very intense experience.
