I like to get into contact with new people and enjoy using other languages which is often necessary because Swiss German is not usually a language being taught in other countries.
But, of course, I like to get to know new Swiss people just as much.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've participated in CS since July 2007, Until now a few people stayed at my place and a few just visited me in Bern. they didn't sleep at my place but we saw each other in the city twice and went out for a drink.
I had a perfect time in northern Norway where I was able to arrange two weeks in and around Tromsö, staying at CS'ers houses.

Interests

Sports (running, bicycle) I used to be a mad rock climber. I don't climb anymore because of an accident but like to watch it still), music (just discovered the piano), good food and, of course, women.

Music: Guns 'n Roses, Joe Satriani, Café del mar, Porcupine tree, Air

All the stuff I listed above is nice. But what I like to do the most, is produce music myself by playing the piano.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The exchange year in Iowa, my studies in chemical engineering in Lausanne, an internship (3 months) in Castellon, Spain, 3 months of vacation in Sydney, Australia, diploma work in Paris (awesome city).

Those are the nicest places I've been to. But what's nicest about all those experiences is, that you always get to know new people. That's fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

Playing the piano is my new passion (style: Rock-, Blues-piano) so if anyone could show me a few new cords, that would be fun.
