About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To leave the world and the people in it better off than when I found them

ABOUT ME

Easy to get along with and simple. I can talk about outer space or the weather or just read a book.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that everyone should try to live as much of their life the way they want to live it instead of fighting and trading time so that you can live a fraction of it the way you want. Of course, there are sacrifices and that's what makes the great times great. Along with that, everyone should try to make this goal as easy for everyone else as they wish it could be for them. Sometimes, I think the meaning to life is to never stop looking for the answer.

-You may have succeeded in life when all that you want is all that you need -Vernon Howard

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am traveling and have been for the entirety of my CS experience, but I love being able to interact with new people and share past experiences. I look forward to hosting as my travels come to a close.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed two times and both times I was so glad I did. I made friends both times and had great experiences. I look forward to surfing some more as well as hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not a huge movie fan but some of my favorites Fight Club, Meet Joe Black, and V for Vendetta. I listen to almost all kinds of music but not too much country or heavy metal. Some of my favorite books are Siddartha by Herman Hesse and God's Debris by Scott Adams.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Afghanistan, gone on a road trip across the US, and hiked the hardest trail east of the Mississippi River.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to think of myself as a jack of a few trades. I am an experienced mechanic and an outdoorsman at heart. I can teach how to do anything from camping to rock climbing to how to change your brakes to how to repack wheel bearings on your bicycle.
