ABOUT ME

I am a friendly Frenchman (it exists!) enjoying to learn from other peoples and their cultures. I started couchsurfing when travelling and I found it truly amazing! I'm on my transition from being a student to working as an engineer, thus making it more difficult to meet new people. That's why CS is a wonderful project helping me to stay in touch with travellers from all over the world. I travelled and lived abroad quite a lot, so I think I am quite open minded, but I also know a lot about my country and its incredible culture, and hope to exchange with anyone willing to.

So many! Always good experiences, sometimes at the last minute, but truly interesting, all of them! I hope to surf in many countries still!

Interests

I love reading! Novels in my long subway rides to work, newspapers everywhere! I watch a lot of movies, but I still have a lot to learn on that subject. I play the trumpet, but would love to be a guitar hero (and not only on my playstation). I enjoy travelling more than anything, and as I won't be able to do it as easily as before now, I like to meet foreigners to feel a little like I was away! I cook, I do sports, I party a lot and get drunk! I try to fill my life with amazing experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Woody Allen, the Coen brothers, Almodovar, Kusturica's movies, everything slightly underground or intelligent : I keep away from stupid action movies flooding our cinemas... Albert Camus, Romain Gary, André Malraux, Nabokov, Kundera, Paul Auster are some of my favorite novelists. Musically I prefer Rock, Blues and Jazz and I party on good Electro...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Selfish and closed people all around the world. People living for money. Violence. Couchsurfing is at the opposite.

I can share anything on my country, on the countries I've visited, on the cities where I've lived, on music, novels, news... I like to learn anything from others!
