Spent the vast majority of my life sitting in central Minnesota freezing my ass off, on the rat wheel of life trying to buy more, own more, impress people, make more money.

A few years ago after having a rock bottom type year I decided to give it all up, sell most of what I own, and start simplifying my life.

During rock bottom I got a remote work job that allows me to work from a laptop, I bought a converted van and I've been travelling non stop ever since.

So far I've travelled all around the west coast, spent extensive time around Seattle and Homer Alaska, as well as New Orleans, Florida, and everywhere in between. I prefer to road trip rather than fly, so I can see the country side and sing through my spotify playlists.

I'm renting out my home in MN to a couple of friends who take care of my dog Maverick for me from time to time when I travel.

I love to learn new things, see new cultures, try new food, see live music, and have deep conversations.

I'm looking for friends who are in a similar place in life and open to travel! All of my friends from my past seem content to work 9-5 for two weeks of vacation for the rest of their lives. I need more freedom than that, and I want friends who feel the same. Hopefully I'll be able to find some like minded folks with this app. 😊

Movies - Currently really into documentaries, kinda drifted away from movies but I'm a nerd for LOTR.

Books - Just finished The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Clairborne and loved it.

I've read a lot of Tom Clancy back in the day, all the Harry Potters, all the LOTR. I drifted away from reading books for a while in favor of reading self help type stuff, and educational articles online. Getting back into reading though.

I don't know what to put here lol... I guess I try to make as minimal impact as possible when I stay anywhere. Quiet, respectful, clean up after myself. You'll never know I'm there.
