half time physicist / porch musician / garden poet

I work as a research physicist at the University of Colorado, Boulder - sometimes with diamonds - sometimes with silicon - sometimes programming - sometimes plumbing. But my interests drift more towards language than science - I've been auditing Spanish & Persian courses recently.

& I run a silent film series with musical accompaniment. I've been playing mostly banjo this summer, persian music here & there as well.

Been bouldering a bunch recently - I'll have my climbing shoes with me wherever I'm travelling.
