Overview
About Me
I have been a world explorer since the day I was born, but due to the frequency that I give into my fear of the unknown, I have not made it out of the United States alone. I have felt a call to travel alone for several years now and am beginning to experience the thrill of what this new chapter of my life will provide. I enjoy pushing myself when I feel afraid, though do not do this as much as I would like.
I do my best to experience each moment as different, as it makes the world so much more exciting. I would really like to have a dog for this reason; as the world seems to always provide something different for them; dogs are also adorable, lovable, playful, warm, and empathic. I love to see what a day brings, and go differently than I have planned. And, sometimes plans are useful.
I absolutely love drinking coffee outside in the morning. I enjoy swimming, climbing, hiking, biking, sitting, walking, viewing, and especially hot spring-ing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel and believe in the kind-hearted nature of people. I also want to get to know people as I travel. I want to be able to share part of my experience with other people, and believe that one means of doing this is through Couchsurfing. One exciting thing about Couchsurfing that I appreciate the most is the generosity that people offer. I also love cooking breakfast for people, and am happy to pay the generosity of your hospitality back to you, and to others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked on the Colorado Trail for two weeks, some days hiking over 20 miles. This is amazing to me because I developed a new trust in my body, and a greater appreciation for the wilderness and how it provides--like the day I was totally exhausted and my friend and I took a break in a field of wild strawberries!
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy and enjoy teaching primitive skills: making spoons out of wood, making fire without lighters, making thread out of plants
I want to learn/practice languages other than English
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my passion for drinking coffee and cooking breakfast; I can share stories and crafts that I have learned in my life. Most of all, I want to share in the relationship that has potential to develop.
