I caught the travel bug after studying abroad in Grenoble, France in Fall 2015 and have been doing my best to explore ever since. While finishing my undergrad (May 2018) in Grand Rapids, MI, I travelled mostly by road trips through the United States, especially the Northeast and into Ontario and Quebec. Since graduating, I’ve had the opportunity to live and work in Lisbon, Portugal, as well as explore Spain, Seattle, and parts of the UK.
I'm a huge fan of meeting new people, hiking, biking, and rock climbing. However, I also love a good craft beer and a long late night conversation :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've loved everyone I've been able to meet through hostels and AirBnB. I think Couchsurfing is another great way to do that too!
Also, being a recent grad, I've learned the value of a dollar (while road tripping I typically sleep in my car in Walmart parking lots or camp), I see Couchsurfing as another way to save money.
