I am studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Ulm, Germany. I started using couchsurfing while I was doing a semester abroad near Detroit,MI. Since I really enjoy traveling and meeting different people, I try to see as much of the world as possible. I would describe myself as open-minded and always in a good mood. I am also very undemanding when it comes to luxury and sleeping arrangements. I really liked my couch surfing experience so far and I hope to meet a lot of cool people doing it in the future.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I just discovered that Couchsurfing was a thing, during my time in the US. I really like the concept of couchsurfing, since meeting new people is a very important part of traveling for me. I prefer to get to know local people over visiting every crowded sightseeing spot.

Interesses

I have a lot of hobbies and am an overall pretty active guy. I like sport. Some of my favorite sports are: rock climbing, skiing, skateboarding, surfing, volleyball, scuba diving.
On top of that I am playing an instrument in a traditional German brass band.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

At a beach I was playing Matkot with a friend when someone else tried to throw a grape into my mouth from maybe 10 meter away. Since the throw was to short I started to run towards the airborne grape. Since it was already too close to the ground I hit it with my matkot-racket and sent it flying another 5 meters in the air before catching it with my mouth while still running full speed....witnessing it was probably more amazing than my description...or it wasn´t.... but I still think it was pretty amazing :D
