Music, Movies, and Books

I can appreciate all types of music except for heavy metal basically, but I gravitate towards music I can dance to and folk music. "A brief History of Everything" is a great book by Ken Wilbur, and for movies I generally like dramas that pack a lot of deep meaning. "Shawshank Redemption" fits the bill.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taken the overnight train from Calcutta to Siliguri in the chair class (no bed, super cheap, and packed with Indians). That trip under such conditions reveals new dimensions of the mind
