About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Pushing my PhD forward, going to Nicaragua for 6 months for that from Sept. 2017
ABOUT ME
I’m open-minded and don`t need much to feel comfortable. I’m tolerant and like to meet people who live in the places where ever I go to... I travelled the first time at the age of 20, when I went to Latin America for 18 months in order to do the german Civilian Service (instead of military service). Since then I`m always looking for new experiences in different countries. I have a strong wish to understand injustices in our today’s world such as poverty, inequality among societies and asymmetries of power – this is why I`m committed to several NGOs and initiatives in Latin America and Germany. Im currently doing a PhD in Cologne/Germany and work as a freelancer in international cooperation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Rock, Ska, Mestizo, Global sounds, Balkan beats, Electro, Punk, Funk, hardcore and soooome Hip-Hop.
Books: Generally I read nonfiction books about scientific and political topics. One of my favourite novels is "La mujer habitada" of the Nicaraguan author Gioconda Belli.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most beautiful spots I`ve seen is definitely "Salar de Uyuni" in Bolivia. I really liked to visit New York City, because I always thought "Hey, I`ve been here before", but this was just the influence of "Kevin lost in New York" and "Sleepless in Seattle" ;)... And one of the most adventurous things I did was to take a direct bus from Buenos Aires to La Paz/Bolivia - 3.500 km and 56 hours...
