Meeting people and making friends is one of the great joys in life, and when you're traveling it's no exception. The road may be dusty, long and lonesome, but when someone opens up their home or their backyard for you, the comforts of home soothe the travelers weary mind. Plus, great people, story swapping, new experiences, local know-how, and no small amount of laughter.
