About Me

I am easygoing, open-hearted and always down to doing something fun or whatever crazy thing you might want to do. I have a very positive attitude, find pleasure in the simple things and myself on the spiritual journey to enjoying life fully. I love being in and contributing to a happy environment. I'm happy, if the people around me are!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting nice people, who look at things from a different angle and trying out new things. CS is a great way to bring people together in a truly personal fashion. Plus, it’s perfect that money does not mediate and stand between people making an honest exchange feasible :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m very much into deep house and techno, but apart from that I enjoy many different kinds of music like trip-hop, reggae, old-school hip hop or classic rock. I enjoy bad free-style dancing to all of it, too haha

I love reading and the list of books I wanna read is ever growing. Some great ones I enjoyed recently: The Alchemist (Paolo Coelho), God is not great (Christopher Hitchens), Sapiens (Harari), Steppenwolf/Narcissus and Goldmund (Hesse), the art of loving/Haben oder Sein (Fromm), Selbst denken (Welzer), River out of Eden (Dawkins), a universe from nothing (Krauss).

It’s tough for me to nail down particular ones, but I guess some of my all-time favourite movies are Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, Matrix, Good Will Hunting and The Big Lebowski.
Also, I started watching some series recently and I liked “It’s always sunny in Philadelphia” (some episodes are fucking hilarious), “Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown” and “Black Mirror” (super relevant!).

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught some German in the past and I’m not the most gifted teacher, but I’m always happy to help out, if anyone is interested in learning German. :)

If you are interested in molecular biology, I can hopefully answer some questions.

Always eager to cook together and about new tasty vegetarian recipes/dishes and food items that can be turned into such.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sincere company, randomness and laughs and maybe some fresh perspectives over a couple of beers :)
