Overview
About Me
I consider myself to be a life enthusiast, and I'm always down for an adventure or a new experience. I'm from a little town in Wyoming, I go to school in California, and I have spent an enormous amount of time teaching myself useless hobbies. I've been a musician, magician, scholar, beekeeper, juggler, balloon twister, unicycler, writer, athlete, construction worker, debater, barista, and a million other things, but there are a million more things that I haven't been and I want to try them all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've found that the best experiences that I have ever had while in new places have always been when someone from the area shows me around. I want to connect with the places I visit in a way that you can't get by booking a hotel.
Interests
I have been a violinist for my whole life, and I can play pretty much anything with strings. I love good, intelligent conversation more than anything, and it's all the better if it's over a campfire or a cup of coffee. I also have an infatuation with useless hobbies, and for some reason I've managed to teach myself a bunch of them.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love just about every type of music, and I think that each genre has something unique and engaging, but I've really been jamming to folk pop lately.
I'm not too big into fiction books, but I love reading literature on social phenomena and theory. There's a lot I don't know about linguistics, socio-economic stratification, and critical race theory, and I'm always trying to better understand the ways in which individuals and society function.
I don't watch a lot of movies, but I recently saw 180 Degrees South and I highly recommend it. I'm also always interested in documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I talk to a lot of strangers. I once drank coffee with an ex-bodyguard of Eminem in a town somewhere in the Swiss Alps.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can and love to teach magic tricks, juggling, and other circus/unnecessary talents. If you have something weird or random to teach me, I am 100% interested in learning it.
