My current mission is to see as much of the world as I can while I have the opportunity to.

ABOUT ME

I am someone who is looking to meet new people/exchange stories, while exploring new places/cities. I was lucky enough to be able to study the German language at the Goethe Institut in Göttingen the summer before moving to Chicago.

I’ve since moved to the beautiful city of San Diego and love to engage with what the surroundings have to offer. There’s nothing better than losing yourself in nature. .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with 5 hosts before and had amazing experiences. During my stays, I was able to have great conversations about culture that I still value to this day. While in Chicago, I hosted two wonderful surfers that I was able to show around my city and neighborhood; very rewarding experiences.

Now that I’ve settled in my own place here in San Diego, I look forward to hosting travelers from around the world!

Interests

Traveling, biking, attending concerts/festivals, exploring forests, meeting new people from different cultures

Music, Movies, and Books

My three favorite movies in order are: The Dark Knight, Birdman, and Anchorman. Whiplash and Boyhood come close, with Interstellar and The Revenant trailing behind.

Electronic music, indie/alternative. A hobby of mine is to discover new music, and I would love to exchange musical interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have climbed a mountainside in the Austrian Alps and had monks serve me food and drinks at the top. I also climbed Half Dome in Yosemite with a homemade harness in the snow.
