I'm a 26-year old current postgraduate student in Linguistics (I studied Japanese and Linguistics for my undergraduate studies)! I love learning and studying languages and traveling, and it's a dream of mine to learn as many different languages as possible and to travel around the world! I'm pretty open to anything and I have a lot of interests, from being outdoors (hiking/trekking), eating, football (soccer)/futsal and sleeping, to playing video games, cooking, and watching Netflix/Hulu, so I'm really all about just enjoying what life has to offer!

I really want to be able to meet other people from around the world and hear about their experiences as well as share my own with them! I think that it's a great idea to actually interact with people from the country that you're staying in, because then you'll be even more connected to the country and hopefully make new friends too! You can't really do that with places like hotels, so I think Couchsurfing is a really great opportunity to connect!

I'm pretty much open to most genres, so I just browse through various types of music, and whatever sounds good to me, I usually add to one of my playlists! Music is another fun way to be exposed to different languages, so some of my playlists are sorted by language, such as Mandarin (Chinese), Korean, Japanese and German! For movies and books, I think the same rule pretty much applies, though I don't watch horror movies or read horror stories too much, but if it's a good movie or book, I'd still be open to watching/reading it!
