I am a energetic, proud father of two young boys. I was born in Australia but spent some time growing up in Oss, Netherlands and Galway, Ireland. I have a proud Russian/Ukrainian background and love travelling. I enjoy thrill seeking adventures and exploring and I am keen to find out more about my ethnic background and the potential Moldovan side of my family.

I have worked in a number of fields of Chemistry, from National Operations Manager to Technical Manager to Director of my own company. I have a passion for running, and have competed at a national level and have raced Mo Farah over 5km, although injuries curtailed any chance of racing on the international circuit.

I love to connect with other people and learn about their cultures. I would one day love to travel through all of Eastern Europe and connect with locals, learning about Soviet times.

In 2006, I raced Mo Farah over 5,000 metres in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games. Also in the race were a number of Australian Olympians and Commonwealth Games athletes. Craig Mottram (12:50 runner) was supposed to race as well.

I have also bungee'd off Auckland Bridge in New Zealand, Sky Dived and plenty of canyoning, white water rafting and sledging.

I would love to learn Russian so I could speak fluently. I can read Cyrillic and slowly expanding my vocabulary. I have taught English, Chemistry and maths and would love to share my travel experiences.
