Hiya, I'm an acoustic singer/songwriter and YouTuber from Brighton, England who is looking for an adventure!

I'm a laid back kind of guy who loves to learn about culture, religions, science, art, language and above all music.

I grew up in South London before moving down to Sussex at an early age where I have lived ever since. I am in my last year of university and am looking forward to entering the big bad word on my own.

I used to be pretty confident in the French language at school but have forgotten most of it due to not practicing enough. I would love to learn French and to have it as a second language!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to find fun, friendly hosts all over the world that can teach me about anything and everything as well as to give back my holding little house gigs.

I've always wanted to travel around Europe properly on my own and be able to really get a sense of what the local culture is like.

Music, Movies, and Books

As an Artist I am a guitar driven singer/Songwriter influenced by pop and jazz.

I love all music! (Except anything toooooo heavy rock and Ska). I am a big lover of pop music from the past 60 years! Everything from Elvis to Eminem, George Jones to Kanye West. My overall two favourite artists would have to be Coldplay and John Mayer.

I'm a self confessed movie buff!
My favourite movies mostly come from the 1980's. Films such as E.T, Back To The Future, The Breakfast Club, Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller's Day Off to name a few. Certain movie franchises also have a special place in my heart as well such as Star Wars which I am a big fan of.

I do love modern movies and would say that La La Land would have to be in my top five all time favourites. As an Actor I love everything that Ryan Gosling has done so would probably say he was my favourite.

I even love bad movies such as The Rooms: "Oh Hi Mark". They're often so bad you just can't help feel good about life and have a laugh.

I've very recently fallen back in love with reading. Mainly with an author named Ernest Cline who is a great sci fi writer. Hi novels Armarda and Ready Player One are fantastically easy to read and intense from the word go.

I'm a fan of most classical reading with all of the Sherlock Holmes books being personal favourites of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the huge honour of performing in a West End musical! The show was called The Dreamers and was at the St James Theatre near Victoria for two weeks.

I've also been very fortunate enough to have had breakfast in The Grand Canyon, spend a night under the stars in Edinborough, See the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) in Finland and met some awesome people along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn about cities and share my music to you and your friends. I would love to learn the local language and find some beautiful secret parts to the cities tourists do not know about!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can provide a house gig where you invite as many people as you want and I'll play a free show and then people can donate as much or as little as they would like to help fund the rest of my travels and shows. I can also teach you a little bit of cooking, my speciality is making sausage rolls infused with Chorizo, Cheese and Bacon.
