Overview
About Me
Born and Raised in German-Speaking Switzerland I grew up always eanting to be an adult and take part in this world. From young age I joined all kinds of clubs and did almost anything you could think of. At some point I wanted to become a military pilot, but decided it was too stressfull and unsafe. I instead made a glider pilot licence and now enjoy the stress-free soaring over the swiss alps.
I am a deeply philosophical person and can talk about almost anything. I am interested in the way other people life their lifes, there is a lot of wisdom im everyday actions, which i find very interesting. There is a lot that I don't know yet about life and I appreciate any assistance in that regard.
Right now I study Law in a Swiss College, it is quiet stressfull and because of that I decided to use summer break to go to the US and volunteer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It was always my dream to go to Burning Man. This year the stars have aligned for me and I am already so excited ;). From July to August I was on a roadtrip with my family. We visited the national parks and Los Angeles. Now they left to get back to work and I am volunteering in a food pantry in Downtown SLC to bridge the time until burning man starts in early September. I want to seize the opportunity to connect with the people that life here and make some friends on the way.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am a big fan of Imagine Dragons and I love almost every Pop Song. Also I like Guns N' Roses and other 80s Hardrock. This is what I play with my band.
I was so deep into Game of Thrones . Its an incredible series. But I didnt really like what they did with the last season.
When I find a great book, then I reread it again and again, so there are not a lot of books on the list, but here is one: Star Wars: Darth Bane.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
#1 I played in a Rockband a while ago. We got lucky and got the opportunity to play in front of a large crowd. The way our music interacted with the emotions of the people was incredible and there I learned about the power of art.
#2 Last year I went soaring in the Swiss Alps and I flew in an updraft along the ridge of the biggest mountains. I love the proximity to the cliffs and the glaciers and this was such a special experience - all in complete silence. I show you the video when we meet ;).
