I'm originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, where I belong to the loving family that gave me my Southern hospitality. During the past couple of years, I was living and working in Northwest Montana, just south of Glacier National Park. After falling in love with the West Coast, I'm now starting my first year at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm mainly on Couchsurfing because I want to do as much exploring of the Pacific Northwest as I can and I love the idea of meeting new people as I go.

Interests

My two main interests are people and the outdoors. I love learning about people -- their experiences, passions, flaws, thoughts.

I love the outdoors as well. I've been graced with numerous opportunities to hang around in beautiful locations around the world with amazing people and learn practical outdoor skills. Looking forward to doing more in the Pacific Northwest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to any music that people introduce me to. I'm a sucker for mo-town as well.

I don't watch many movies but, when I do, I appreciate them. I recently watched the new movie, Boyhood, and loved it.

My book selection is fairly limited to what I'm reading in school. I just finished a book called Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry into Values. I found it extremely thought-provoking. I also reread the Harry Potter series every couple years!

I backpacked and kayaked in Norway this past summer.

Teach, Learn, Share

Like I said above, I love hearing about people. I love sharing different stories and laughs and cries, etc. I'm also very interested in learning any skills people want to offer. Although I'm young and inexperienced, I am willing to teach what I've learned throughout life thus far as well!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very low maintenance and can offer a chill attitude and a warm smile. I love being a helpful human being and assisting in any way I can around the house.
