I can say about myself that i'm a very social and adventurous guy.. I guess i'm a good listener with an open personality.
I like to think 'outside the box' and i'm always up for something new/exciting and maybe thrilling.
Some people say (at least the people that are closest to me say this about me - don't want to brag :) )that i'm a kind and sweet guy, with a 'dry' sense of humour. Also i'm a dreamer...just thinking about things to come, things that came, or just staring away at the night sky..
I try to enjoy the small things in live as much as i can!
I can very much enjoy a beautifull sunset,the night sky, a long hike, a good beer, a campfire and some nice company i can share my thoughts and interests with :)
I'm still looking for a place in this world, and finding myself.. be totally happy and just be myself.. i think when i travel, i am totally myself and just...happy:)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I would like to try something new in my live, something i haven't tried before...i would like to travel more on my own, haven't tried that before, and i'm curious about it.
In general, i would like to go out of my comfort zone and learn to meet some new people, and i heard it's a cheap way to travel of course :)
I think it's a great way to get to know the local culture from the inside and maybe on the way meet some new friends...
I also think it's a very open way for me to choose my own hosts-interests, whatever what fits me the best...

the music i like: everything from the 50's- till now - rock'n roll in general.. (elvis/jerry lee lewis/little richard, the black keys ,acdc, motorhead, the beatles,black box revalaton, muse, bob dylan, bob Marly, the royal bood...but i am very open for any kind of music , depends on my mood and setting..

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

* A road trip for a month across the U.S.A with 2 of my friends...
* a boat trip in Montery-u.s.a and seeing humpback whales and groups of more then 60 Dolphins.
* Totally unexpected attended an Egyptian wedding
* A skydive In Africa
* A hike on the Etna-volcano in Italy-Sicily and seeing it erupt...
* A hike on Table Mountain in South Africa ( what a hard hike it was! )
* Seeing the clearest night sky in Death valley-u.s.a and also In Africa (this one was amazing!!)
* Catching a firefly near the banks of the Orange River in Africa (also sleeping without a tent and only a sleeping bagg/pillow under the clear african night sky, and when we woke up discovering wild cheetah footprints at 5 m's where we were sleeping ! (that was just to insane for words!!! :d )
* Being attacked by a wild AFrican elephant (true story!)
* Wild rhino- tracking at 10 meters close-range ( that was just to crazy ! )
*Running alone cross -country in Botswana between wild groups of springbok and antillopes ( amazing!)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

i would like to travel as much as humanly possible in my lifetime!and learn how to surf/windsurf...

my bucket list (a small part of it):

seeing the 'Big 5' in Afrika/ diving with whales and diving the great barrier reef in Australia/ wild water kajakking or rafting/ experiencing my first couch surfing trip :)/ buy a small house with a garden /seeing the northern light
